GHOST STORY #001
"The Last Stall"
The arcade closed every night at 11 PM.
The lights shut off automatically, but the restroom's fluorescent lamp was often left on.
No one bothered to check it anymore.
One evening, the cleaner noticed something strange.
The left stall was locked.
The arcade was empty.
He knocked on the door. No answer.
Still, the lock was turned from the inside.
When the door was finally forced open, the stall was empty.
No trash.
No footprints.
The toilet seat was up, as if someone had just stood up.
From that night on, the left stall began locking itself.
Sometimes late at night, when the entire arcade was already closed, the arcade machines powered down one by one…
but a sound came from the restroom.
Not footsteps.
Not breathing.
Just the quiet pull of a flush handle, moving on its own.
Those who stayed to listen too long all said the same thing:
In the restroom mirror,
there was a figure
that never left the stall.
By morning, the door was locked again.
No one inside.
But the toilet was warm.
